We will work closely with your facilities to obtain and process meal count forms for claims submission. We provide extensive analysis of meal count forms, student rosters, and daily attendance records to prevent the possibility of overclaims and underclaims. Overclaims occur when an institution received more reimbursement than was actually earned based on records to support the claim. Underclaims occur when an institution receives less reimbursement than was actually earned based on the records supporting the claim. Fiscal action may be taken against any institution that fails to comply with the regulatory requirements for participation in the CACFP.
